Joe | Keyboards/Vocals/Band Leader

Joe is a very versatile and talented keyboard player/band leader also
a composer/arranger. He has been a band Leader for years and performed in numerous different show cases – everything from Showbands, Broadway, Concerts, to Cruise Ships and Dance Bands. He has performed in numerous Countries such as Japan, Philippines, Cyprus, Italy, USA, Middle East and also played with the famous group from the seventies The Delfonics. Different styles of music are one of Joe’s Specialties. He also sings lead and backup vocals.

Selena | Lead Vocals

Selena is a young vocalist who is working toward a career in the recording industry. She has already appeared on some jingles for
radio & T.V. as well as demos for several commercial businesses.
Her performances have gathered a great following in all parts of Canada, and she has been seen on television several times. Her dynamic vocal range and ability to change styles of music seem effortless. She is a very energetic and friendly entertainer. She also plays guitar & saxophone which add an extra popular sound to the group.

Michelle | Vocalist

Most recently Michelle performed as principal singer sailing the Caribbean aboard the Norwegian Sun. This year also saw a long time dream fulfilled when she mounted a tribute to her favourite singer, PEGGY LEE. Michelle performed for the Armed Forces in Bosnia and has appeared coast-to-coast in Canada, and toured in the U.S. as a musical theatre performer. Michelle has honed her cabaret show, JAZZ, TORCH & ANCIENT POP, performs regularly with the JAY BOEHMER JAZZ, and is one half of the duo TWICE-AZZ-NICE.

Tim | Drummer

Tim is one of the most diversified drummers this side of the border. After attending three years at Humber College, which offers the best Jazz music course in Canada, Tim can play virtually any style of music. His experience and singing ability is a great contribution to the sound of this band. Tim has also made appearances on T.V. and performed in front of large audiences.

Dane | Bass/Vocals

Dane is the youngest in the band, but certainly not young when it comes to playing the bass and his knowledge in music. He is extremely talented, started playing Jazz at a young age, as well as singing in a big vocal group. His input in the band is very essential and uplifting, very versatile also. His previous engagements and performances were very challenging musically that now he’s sharing that with Ascension. His performance and vocal ability are very well appreciated in the outcome of music.
